µPAX-2 2W pulsed xenon lamp light source

ExcelitasμPAX-2 is a 2-watt pulsed xenon light source designed to incorporate an innovative bulb design. State-of-the-art circuit and component packages are used to deliver broadband optical pulses of microsecond duration with excellent arc stability. This compact integrated solution encapsulates the flash, trigger circuit and power supply in an EMI suppression enclosure.

µPAX-2 delivers various levels of flash energy and 6 W average power in a compact pre-calibrated module. It uses Excelitas' high-stability short-arc xenon flash. These xenon lamps are known for their stability and long-life properties, producing a continuous range of spectra from ultraviolet to infrared.

Compact, low power consumption, controllable peak and surge current, excellent stability and compact form factor make the μPAX-2 series an ideal choice for UV/VIS spectrophotometers and point-of-care analytical instruments.
